SiN Reloaded Tools Hub

Graphics toggles, PC specs, and four Freeport kits you can actually carry.

Tools Hub

This hub is the practical layer: how Reloaded looks, what it asks of a PC or console, and which guns you should carry into a given map. Story and ranks live elsewhere. If a menu name, a RAM figure, or a silo kit is the question, start here.

SiN Reloaded runs on Nightdive’s KEX engine. That is why a 1998 Quake II campaign can target 4K at 144 FPS on PC, expose a Gold visual toggle, and ship on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and Switch 2 from the same project. The settings page matters because you are choosing a face for the game, not just a brightness bar.

The full campaign launches 24 September 2026. The Steam demo is the place to test your machine and binds until then. Nothing here assumes you already own the complete story.

Settings and graphics

Open settings and graphics for the remaster-versus-Gold toggle, brightness and entity contrast, anti-aliasing, frame-rate caps, Steam Deck notes, and subtitle language. Reloaded restored unused voice lines; if you play with the interface in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, or Japanese, confirm subtitles are on.

Gold is the 2020 SiN Gold look, not a performance crutch. Remastered textures are the trailer default. You can swap without restarting a mission.

System requirements

System requirements lists Steam’s minimum and recommended PC specs, the 4 GB install, DirectX 11 / Vulkan 1.1, and console targets. Switch 2’s docked 4K / 120 figure lives there next to the handheld 1080p cap. Linux and Deck players get a dedicated Linux and Deck page (Proton 11 reports, gyro Update #1, unknown official Deck rating), not a native-client promise. Minimum RAM is 1 GB; recommended is 2 GB. The limiter is usually the display you want, not whether an i5-2300 can boot the bank.

Loadouts

Loadouts is four kits, not a skill tree: bank close-range, silo explosives, mutant energy, and ammo conservation. You pick up what Freeport drops and you choose what to spend. Cross-link those kits to the weapons guide when you need a Reloaded tweak, and to combat when the kit is fine and your feet are not. The walkthrough is map order; loadouts are what you carry while you follow it.

Before launch

Demo-only: settings, then requirements, then a bank-style close-range kit. Console: skip the CPU table, read platforms, and still open settings so Gold is not a surprise. Veterans: jump to loadouts and what’s new so independent Magnums and remote mines do not catch you mid-reload. Come back here when a patch shuffles a slider, not when you want a boss script — that is enemies.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Which tool page should I open first?

If the demo stutters or looks wrong, use settings. If you are checking a PC or console, use system requirements. If you are about to play a map, use loadouts.

Does Reloaded need a powerful PC?

Steam's recommended CPU is an i5-2300 or Phenom II X4 945 with 2 GB of RAM. 4K / 144 FPS is the ceiling, not the buy-in. Full numbers sit on the requirements page.

Can I make it look like the original?

Yes. The Gold visual toggle swaps remastered textures for the SiN Gold look. Details and brightness notes are on settings.

Are loadouts unlockable classes?

No. They are suggested kits for bank, silo, mutant, and conservation play. You still pick guns up in the world. See loadouts and the weapons guide.

Is this for the demo or the full campaign?

Both. Specs and settings apply now. Full kits assume maps the demo may not include. The campaign itself launches 24 September 2026.
